Just a quick note to let you all know that today, we officially secured all of the funds we will need for the adoption of our baby. Quite a heavy burden has been lifted off our shoulders, and we are so thankful that this worked out!
No news yet on the progress of our home study paperwork. As you may or may not recall, we turned it in 2 weeks ago today. Our caseworker is in the process of reading through it and writing her report, and it will probably be several more weeks before there are any new developments.
I'll keep you posted, no worries! Thanks for your continued thoughts/prayers/good wishes.

Sounds like things are falling into place and that is so wonderful! I thought of you today while I attended a yoga class! You have been through so much and I am practically tearing up with happiness for you! My design editor adopted a little girl from Korea. She is so beautiful and her name is Amanda Finnegan and she was born on St. Patrick's Day! She is definitely not what people imagine when they hear the name Finnegan! You are a true smart ass and will have no problem setting people straight if they make insensitive comments about your son. Give me a call if you need back up! I cannot wait to meet this child!xoxox
